Biography
I studied molecular biotechnology in Vienna and completed my Ph.D. at the Medical University of Vienna, investigating how JAK-STAT signaling regulates adipose tissue and liver metabolism.
My work focuses on cancer-associated weight loss and obesity, tissue clearing, light-sheet microscopy, and AI-based image analysis to study disease across organs and the whole body.
Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling, exploring nature, practicing pilates and chasing sunsets wherever I go.
Research interests
Whole-body imaging, deep learning for organ mapping, MouseMapper, and metabolic biology.
